Thats not the first time I've heard of plod crashing in a car park.

The other time involved Focus ST's or RS's or something (Focii? lol) being written off after the drivers were arsing around lol

When stuff like this happens like a Asda car park, which is private property presumably what's the deal with insurance ?

usually there are signs in the carparks stating they hold no responsibility for any damage etc. and quite a few carparks are not actually owned by the supermarket itself.

I believe if the road has public access the usual road rules apply.

most of these large public organisations handle their own risk underwriting up to a certain value, cos it is cheaper than the cost of insuring them..so the old bill will simply pay to get the cars straightened out....

according to local legend, a hinckley police mk3 astra had 27 replacement front wings in a year...

Mate of mine was **** ended by the rozzers once while sat waiting to turn right in a filter lane with the brake lights and right indicator on. Rozzers were in "a hurry" to get to some place and wrapped into him while doing a dodgy overtake.

Long story short they "proved" my mate wasn't indicating nor had his brake lights on and it was all his fault! Six points due care and attention and raped for insurance. So yeah it's bound to be the Focus fault

your mate should have dialled 999 & gone to town on their arses.....i once got pulled up for allegedly looking at 2 wpc's a bit funny, and by the time i'd finished bollocking people i had a full apology from a chief inspector..

is it even against the law to not use your indictors let alown the foot brake when waiting at a junction

Hobbit

Well when the db9 wrote my nova off (tried to overtake while i was turning right) he claimed i didn't indicate. The off duty copper that witnessed it said it didn't make a blind bit of difference and did him for dangerous driving.

i can also pull a wheelie down the street in front of the cops, and try to burnout whilst talking on the phone and eating without indicating..
