I moved house a year ago and all v5s are red, I don 't really see much different.

The move however is great apart from a mastrubator of a neighbour who has his music on lots 11pm till 3am, then sometimes puts it on again at 7 am. I can make out the actual songs, tried speaking to him sensibly, he is just rude and offensive......oops sorry, started wandering and in danger of hi jacking the thread..sorry!

the best thing to do is hire a wacker plate & wacker your drive, path or anything at 7.00am... it fixed a nasty neighbour in my street..

yes.. i'm guessing there is some clever reason, like someone was making fake v5's or similar

Oh right, colour change gonna make all the difference i suppose, because clearly no one outside of the dvla can buy red ink and such.

It's because of the batch of blank ones that were stolen about 2 years ago. DVLA are only getting round to changing them now, when the stolen ones will be in circulation anyway!

What's a wacker plate?

like a neumatic drill with a solid plate on the bottom iirc

Ha, that would be great fun, on the drive or on his head though?
