just wondering if it is normal to have abit of pressure under the oil cap,
on my 1.6 it was really puffing out untill i realised the oil was overfull.... so i drained some out and now its not so bad, but still abit puffy :thumb:

have you checked the breather pipe is clear?

checked a few of them and one was pretty clogged from when the head gasket went.

probably the reason then, blocked breathers can give excessive pressure and it isnt good for the engine

Yeah I bet its not, I will have to look in the haynes manual to find where they all are

main one comes from beside the dipstick from the crankcase
