mods:
1.6 8v conversion, 30mm lower and gte brakes
my details:

the cheapest (and only quote) i have managed to get so far is liverpool victoria:

then if he has an accident the insurance assessors come out an say we're not payin because you didn't tell us about your mods, then what does he do??!
try people like tesco or cis or sometimes admiral they are the cheapest atm i think but if you don't declare mods you're lookin for trouble

urm summat wrong there

me and mike are both with lv and we've both been told the same thing

the car will be insured as a 1.2L with engine mods

this means the policy will only be about ?40 more than a normal 1.2L

so fuck knows what they were quoting you on

follow privatepies advice for a nice healthy driving without insurance conviction and any charges handed to you as a result of a claim not in your favour

Your asking for trouble if you don't declare and get caught out. keep trying and try playing them off against each other.

can putting bigger brake bump up ur insurance?

Yes they dont look at your are improving the braking. Just look at it that you are tampering with the brakes wich is frowned upon due to the severity of the implications.

thats ridiculous! how can they c it like that!? it would work out worse for them if i had 1.2 brakes trying to stop summin with double the power that there designed for! insurance companys

the brakes thing is cause they think u will break later taking more risks...

if u install brakes urself and not done proper it can fuck u over, insurance is rubbish yes but u gota play the rules, sticking a group 11 engine in a group 3 chassis and not saying nething is just fraud TBH
