why not get the 1300 bottom end rebuilt...you'll know its spot on then, may cost a touch more but a much better option

a 1200st bottom end will fit, but give crap power compared to a 1.3

just what is knackered in the 1.3??

it would be worth getting the crank ground, a rebore for 1200st pistons & a new oil pump cos you get a fresh 1400 and decent power with twin 40's

thats what i'd be doing, fukk ballsing around with 53rd hand bottom ends that have enterprise milage.
As said, split the 13 and measure and inspect, then go from there.
