F13 or F16 gearbox?

iv just bought a nova track car that is running a 2.0 8v seh engine but has an F13 gearbox. can anyone tell me wat box is best for track days. i have an F16 that can be fitted no problem.

Folks use the f13 because it's a smallblock box thus meaning you can run smallblock shafts. If you fit a bigblock f16 you'll have to go for bigblock custom shafts using big block inner and outer cvs, or use gte 22 spline shafts with cav 1.6 inners. I'd go for the correct gearbox for the engine which is the f16, or even an f20. hth :)

Will accelerate much faster with f13 and thats what you want on a small track, f13 is also lighter iirc
