Can someone clear this up for me? I always thought that the mark 2 nova SR was a 1.4 carb'ed engine until March 92 when it became the SRI due to the fact all petrol engines were getting cats on them, i know the 1.0 and 1.2 were both dropped and replaced with the 1.2i at that time. If thats true you shouldn't get a 1.4SR on a K plate but i remember seeing some in the past :confused: Did Vauxhall make the SR alongside the SRI or have i got this all wrong?

i had a j reg sri if that helps

No they brought the SRi out in 1991 to fade the SR out. But they did sell both in conjunction with each other

I've never seen a 1.4 sr carb older than j reg, I thought they were then changed to the 1.4i due to emissions laws?

I have seen a K IIRC

doesn't surprise me, they were putting all bits out at the end to get rid of stock, i once saw a L reg 4 door saloon.
