As above, I think somone has cut the plug off in confusion on previous conversion so I was going to wire it up myself, so does anyone know the oil pressure sender wire so I can trace it to where its been cut saves me hacking my loom up to find it, also where the wire usually runs to/from its on a 1litre shell and loom on a c20xe cheers.

Have a feeling it is cut close to where it comes out of the loom :)

Bump, i think I found the old sender plug, or what's left of it the wire may have come out the plug by the looks of it, does the wire come from the loom by coil on the 1litres?

The 1.0 never had a oil pressure switch only an oil level switch. Are you adding a digidash or mk1 sr dials

You sure about that Brains? It'll have had a low pressure switch, and won't have had a pressure sender, and I'm 100% sure it never had a level switch!

Been years since I looked at a Nova with a standard loom but I'd guess it would come out around the wiper motor to go down behind the block.

What I ment is it will light a lamp but not work a gauge

Well I've got 2 wires coming off the horn part of the loom 1 blue/green and 1 blue/yellow, the blue/green one has a plug on it which looks as if it would plug straight into the oil pressure sender, I have mk2 Sr (yes mk2 incase anyone thinks I typed it wrong :s) clocks in it, don't know if this helps :s cheers

It is only the warning light I want just as a fail safe BTW :)

Continuity test on a multimeter, it should go straight to the back of the clocks?
