nova 2.0 8v tuning

im currently building a 2.o 8v to fit in my nova and looking for any ideas on engine mods for speed. ive got a fast road cam and vernier pulley but unsure what else.

any ideas????:confused:

well i have a 20seh with a 272 cam, r1 carbs, p&p head, 4-2-1 with a 2" exhaust using megajolt for the spark

has your vernier pulley been set up or has it just been put on?

im still building the engine but should be done by weekend. pulleys in the box still. also have a 4-2-1 manifold and a powerflow stainless exhaust with 3" tail.

are we talking acceleration or top speed?

what head works been done?

just had it skimmed. acceleration and top speed-gna be using it for a track/hillclimb car

well apart from getting the head worked on and fitting tb's or carbs theres not much else to do

get your car lighter is another option, more power to weight ratio

i had a 2l 8v bored to a 2.1 with 16v injectors on a corsa gsi gbox that was pretty nippy ;)

nah no flywheel. did u use the injecors from a xe? and were they plug and play?

Would allow it to rev a bit more freely.

yup injectors go straight in :)

no probs. al order a set 2moro and look into the lightened flywheel. any ideas where does reasonable prices?

last time i checked for new injectors they wree about £50 mark lol, easier getting a second hand set and refurbing them
