well went to fit my filterking regulator today and it dosnt fit where i want it :(

i was gonna mount it where that mess of a hole is behind the carbs but theres not enough room so im in need of some ideas

has to be able to route a fuel pipe to and from it without being in any stipid place

i'd be looking at in front of the rh turret. make up a little bracket, and the fuel pipes will lead straight to it.

i take it your pipes just ran in between the runners on the manifold?

Yes!! Not very visible on this picture sadly lol

It was 5 years ago and I wasn't taking many pictures at the time.

I ran off the pump on the side of the engine, it was a 1.4.

ah see my pumps mounted at the back of the car, its a pisher not so much a pusher lol

the alternator is sorta in the way for running the feed pipe up there

Just run both fuel lines between the manifold and the onto the pipes where they usually come through up the bulkhead, should be plenty of room rather than worrying about it catching the alternator.

As its only a filter, why not just run a inline filter under the car or something?

its not just a filter its also a regulator, i have a gauge for it and theres a nut on the top to increase or decrease the pressure

I would use a Bike fuel pump, from my experience its the best way and am sure Lewis. will agree with me. Then like benn said a inline filter.

well ive read good things about using a bike pump and bad things, the main thing was the distance that a bike pump is having to push the fuel where as on a bike its only less than a foot

the facet pump im using was cheaper than a bike pump anyway and at least this way i can adjust the fuel pressure if needed
