Wanted mk1 sr 1.3/1.4 any age must be fairly good condition inside and out any colour. I stay in fife scotland.

Has anyone looked at any of the two mk1 sr's on a well known car site? The first one reg C802 RMV silver £1295 and the second reg E359 WCM £2495 both look clean in the photos but we all know photos can hide alot and you really have to look at a car for yourself and have a good poke about. Both cars are a good few hundred miles away from where I live and dont want to travel that far to find out its rotten. So please guys honest opinions on any of the 2 cars would be most apprieciated.

I have bought my son a nova sr 1.3 f reg 88 recently and had it mot,ed but he can not insure as classic insurance as he is too young at 17. The car has gen 39000 miles from new and all documentation with it full service history and all old mots. It had been stood for a while and needed front brakes and rear wheel cylinders for the mot but no welding. the car has the orig grey whhel trims and has no extras as has been owned for the first 22 years by a local lady so has been well looked after. i have now insured it for me and the wife for £185 a year fully comp and just using it now and again. it starts and runs like a brand new car. there are a few rust bubbles on the back arches and one on the front wing but i asked a local guy for new back arches to be welded on and front wing repaired and he said approx £280. I need £1500 back for the car as what i have spent so far. This car would make a perfect classic car as has never been abused or driven hard. If your interested i could send you some photos. C'mon guys there has to be somebody selling a mk1 sr out there in reasonable condition???? Even consider selling your one you have tucked away?? Cash waiting£££££££.. Prefer it to be in scotland or nearby.....!
