bilstein gravel shockers (rear)
uniball joints
goodrich braided brake flexis
aeroquipe fuel pipe

I will be posting lots of questions as i go, so anyone technical that gives me there advice it is appreciated!

depends on what events you to entry for gravel is usally £500 for rounds of the scottish rally championship, smaller single venue events can cost around £200, tyres petrol....depends what your budget is and what you wanna spend.
TBH i canny afford it either but ive always wanted to do so so im going to... i sacrifise alot of stuff for this car!

I have 2x facet red top fuel pumps (new) one will be there as a spare incase something happens in the stage. i had these mounted on the drivers side chassis leg but was told that these pumps are a push pump and not a pull pump. was told to mount them behind drivers seat - however, there is very little room here because where the bars have been welded for the seat mounts, anyone got any advice or pics to help?
A friend has his mounted on the chassis leg, running a very tuned 1370cc suzuki engine, he has never had a problem with fuel starve and it revs to something stupid! 9k rings a bell
Got an inlet off colin smith for what i think is a steal, £50, priced one from bill falconer at £320 (inc fitting kit @ £40)
plan is to get the engine mounts strengthened, everything under bonnet done and have the engine ready to go in by the end of january, need ARP bolts, new gasket etc.
trying to upload pics off my phone but its not going well.
P.S got some bits on the "for sale" ( 8v engine parts)

Not had time to work on the nova recently with it being christmas and the road car needing some welding thanks to the lovely saltey roads! however got some pictures whilst at the workshop, got a friend breaking his nova rally car at the end of january so need to save some money for some bits off him!
Anyone know where i could get new bushes for the bottom of the bilstein rear shockers btw?

The Threads in the chassis for the bottom engine/gearbox mount are knackered to i made this plate, weld the nuts on the back of it and weld it to the chassis. there is a small amount of movment in the mounting so i hope it does not change the angle of the engine. i have bored holes into the chassis where the captive nuts were before so the plate should sit flush.

Was thinking about getting some solid round bar and tapping up the middle to create more thread for the bolt to grip, the small nut above doesny fill me with confidence!

Made some bits for the dash and wrapped them in. The carbon wrap is very easy to work with, reckon i could get a bit carried away with wrapping stuff on the road car!
Good thing i have a friend who is a proper good sparky, wiring is not my strong point!

The power house....gonna think hard this week, do the sums and hopefully get the engine sent to Bill falconer, re-profile the cams, ARP bolts and modify the pulleys.
Anyone made a bracket for the altenetor to sit, the bottom pulley only runs the altenator, P/s has been done away with. want to make a new brakcet and way to tension the belt as im not happy with how the previous person had done it!

all you need is an 865 mm 6-rib belt and that's a tight fit.

Looks a great wee car!
As for the altenator, either get a short belt, and make a tensioner for the top of the multirib altenator (the chassis leg will need a slit made in the top of it, hammered closed, and weld the slit back up, much neater and less work than boxing the leg like most 20xe conversions do)
The other option is use 8v nova or corsa b v-belt pulley, belt, altenator, bracket and make a tensioner (this is the method i use on my 16xe nova)
