Hi all,
Well the very unfortuanate time has come to sell my rallye, i absolutly love this car and i hate to sell it but i have no option any more due to my new car.
Its a 1998 106 rallye its in standard form except a full manifold back Pugsport exhaust.
The car has done 135,000 miles, the last 30,000 of these is mostly motorway miles that i have accumulated for various reasons over the last couple of years.
The car does not have power steering or an airbag.
Over the time i have had the car, its wanted for nothing, i had most of the work professionally done by a ford master tech (member of the family) or by myself. It has had;
4x Brand new white s2 wheels (May 2011) (Not re powdercoated or painted, new)
Full set of engine mounts including uprated rear mount (powerflex) (June 2011)
New front wheel bearings and driveshafts (June 2011)
Fully reconditioned brakes (full strip and rebuild of all calipers, bead blasted and then painted black with all new seals, bleed nipples, pads, discs, hadbrake cables and fluid) (April 2011)
Pugsport stainless outwardly rolled exhaust system from manifold back (December 2010)
New rear decals
Head Gasket done at 115,000 miles
Cambelt done at 105,000 miles
New thermostat
New Battery
Flat type wipers (front)
Braided steel brake pipes
New clutch cable
Im sure there is a lot more stuff i have forgotten too.
The car is fitted with a clifford concept 500 alarm too for added security.
The head unit will be removed from the car and a standard one refitted.
I will add some photos as soon as i can and if you require any further info please just contact me and il answer all i can.
I am after £1900 or nearest offer for her. This is what i think are car of this nature deserves and so im looking for as close as possible to this for her.
She does have the odd car park ding and a couple of scratches that would be expected of a car of this age.
Another thing is that there will be a full set of wheels to go with the car (old ones that were removed) and the standard exhaust as well.
