I want to lower my 1.2 nova 60mm. I currently have 175-65-14 wheels/tyres on with no lowering.
after i lower it 60mm with the Gmax Kit will i fit 16ins on without doing any arch modifying? I guess 15ins will fit on fine?

195-50-15's will fit ok right?

195-45-16's are the ones i'm not sure about.

cheers.

u;d be better with 195 45 15's too

the 16's will need arch rolling

especially if they aint ET45-49

should get em on ok tho

I have been offered a set of Jamex 60mm springs and shocks. I have a GTE bumper with splitter, and Nova GTE alloys (5J, ET49, 175x65x14).

How will this look and handle. Does anyone have any commentd about the Jamex kits? Any pics of people lowered 60mm with GTE alloys?

Thanks

195/45/15 wheels and tyres will fit on fine with a -60mm drop regarding your alloys are inbetween et45-49 (think thats right). If you go for 16's you will still be able to fit the alloys on, but you will probably need to roll/grind your inner lip on your arches so that the tyre doesn't scrub.

As for getting a -60mm srop, yes your car will handle better as the susspension will be stiffer and the car will sit lower to the road. However, make sure you get uprated shocks to cope with the new springs. You can stick those springs on normal shocks, but your handling wont be as good as it could be and your shocks will wear out very quickly.

One other thing, when you get the susspension fitted, get your wheels aligned and the tracking checked. Do it about 3 months down the line aswell, as your susspension will settle and the springs will compress a little more.
