Certainly won't be painting them white - a) I'm too lazy, lol, b) satin black is easier and c) I'd never match the paint, a colour which I have dubbed "DaveFox1" and seems to refuse to match any colour I throw at it. Hence the off-white tow hook cover lol

Its glacier White and will match if sprayed at a body shop. Rattle cans seems slightly different shade but atleast your lucky to have the cover lol

Keep them Jack, suit the black with the dark indicator lenses, or paint them white with clear indicator lenses

They look spot on, cavs are the only cars that suit quad lamps imo.

but wtf is going on with those wheels? get some tecnomagnesio detroit f1's on it, THE wheel for cavs (even if they are a million pounds lol)

Never like Quads on a Cav (or a Nova for that matter), it has to stay standard. Just put some HID's in it. Brother has and for the past 3 and a half years it has been fine, no problems and has passed MOT's.

HIDs in the cav lamps are a massive no-no, the light pattern is ridiculous and the output is poor at best. H4 HIDs seem crap in everything tbh, the whole rotating shield thing seems to splatter the light in all the wrong places.

The output isn't too bad in the Cibies, better than the OEM lamps, but the pattern isn't ideal. Going to try and adjust it slightly later, if no good then I'll swap to Nightbreakers or PIAA Xtreme. If thats still no good then I might look at some more E30 lamps as they use single filament bulbs, so seem to work better.

Wheels are staying for the time being, I can't afford anything else lol Although I might be tempted by some TSW Spyders if I can find some...

i had single filiment HID's in them and the pattern weren't perfect but it was better than most lenses and patterns that i've seen.

i had the outers HID and the inners for flash and full beam.

Love that look, so keep them, even though I voted burgo, because I also really want you to paint the batman logo on the bonnet!! lol!

Yeah, these are Cibies and my old Irmscher (Nova) panel came with them too. The QuadConversions one I had used Valeo lamps which looked to be better lamps but I sold them on.

Peanut, what bulbs did you use in the outers? Off the top of my head I can't think of a bulb which would mount properly in a H4 holder. Possibly a 9006 one.. hmm

I've found that non-GM glass lenses have a rubbish light pattern compared to GM items. Bro has HID's fitted and I can't see anything wrong with light pattern on dipped beam.
