Quick 1.3sr exhaust manifold question!

Currently my 1.3 has the standard 421 manifold and downpipe fitted, would a 4-1 4branch make any difference or improvement?

This question comes up often, and the usual answer (which I agree with from experience) is that a 4-2-1 manifold, standard or otherwise, is better than a 4-1.

My 4-1 seemed to move power/torque higher up the rev range. I went back to a 4-2-1 because it was much nicer for driving day to day.
