I like cooking, there's something really satisfying when you tuck into something you have made yourself from scratch :)

I don't have much choice in the matter though, as the missus doesn't/can't cook much lol

i love cooking. i bought my first car by washing up/ cooking in a local restaurant kitchens, and also did 2 evenings a week in the local kentucky fried chicken (which is what the kfc used to be called) which when you consider my surname is saunders did lead to a lot of piss taking...

i too love making large pies, but my pastry skills aren't what they could be, i am continually striving to make the best yorkshire puds south of the arctic circle (m62), any my bread is pretty good too... but if they had lasagne making at the olympics, i'd be in contention for a medal.

my kids have such a good reputation with cakes/cookies/biscuits, that my eldest daughter, molly, was asked to provide some scones for a cream tea for distinguished visitors at her school this week.. last xmas, they did a fundraising drive, & molly made some choccy crinkle cookies in a glass jar as a sample, and they made a brochure up, and she ended up making & selling 150 jars of cookies.. she wasn't meant to, but some of the other kids were supposed to do some, and the stuff they made was unsellable, so we had a couple of late nighters to get the orders out...the trouble is that molly is one hell of a seller too..

I love to here stories like this where kids actually get off the there **** and make an effort, I had to when I was younger and it has helped me out no end in life.

The only reason for that is picking at the food as your cooking it lol

I'm just weird with food full stop. If I'm eating with someone else, as soon as they're finished I automatically feel full lol :tard: It would be fine except I'm a slow eater.
