Windscreen wipers - not working properly!

Hi guys,

Having a problem with the windscreen wipers on my nova. they work fine if there are on all the time(not intermittent speed), but when i turn them off they don't go back to the correct place they stick half way and just stay there.

Any ideas?

Probably faulty relay mate

the relay is at the botttom of the fuse box and if I rememebr correctly, the wiper one is the one to the left with a number of pins in it.
