1.3 sr with kent cam!

just bought a kent AST-18 cam for my nova ,i have had the head skimmed thats it put it all back togeather its runing now seems to be ok but slight noice coming from the engine when heats up it gets a bit worse. just worried something goes seriously wrong.
so is there anything i should of really done to the head or pistons before fitting this cam or should it be ok!?

That is a solid lifter cam, have you got the tappet clearances set properly?

are you still running hydraulic lifters if so they are no good for that cam.
