Confused by suspension

I have got a 1.2 shell with 60mm lowering kit and a GSI with exactly the same kit and the gsi handles and rides miles better than the 1.2?

any ideas?

What are the main differences between a 1.2 shell and a GSI shell?

chassis on the gsi is thicker

iirc the gsi is 1mm steel and 1.2-1.4 is 0.8mm steel (or maybe its 1.2mm and 1.0mm)

this will give the gsi less flex etc

also the gsi will prolly have antiroll bars fitted as standard which will make it handle differently (not neccesarily better)
