no more than a grand, and the forum mods will land on this thread for breaking rules

Define restored..... slapped a bit of body filler here & there & rattled canned it in, or full on bare metal restrostore etc etc

pics would help, lots of them.

would your insurance be saying oh its a nova its worth £1.34 and a packet of rivita...and you want it to have an agreed value of more?

If this is a thinly veiled attempt for a 'what's it worth thread' - £5-600
If it's a genuine insurance question then value it at what you would be happy to sell it for (then add 50%)

Not wanting to encourage such things but as I've fully restored mine with new GM panels and parts does anyone know/have an agreed value policy? The monetary value of mine is ridiculous and I'd never get back what it owes me but if I could get an agreed value when it's finished it could mean the difference between instant write off if some old duffer hits the back 1/4 and it getting some kind of repair.

Anyone got this kind of policy?

With 'specialist' companies (Flux etc) you can agree a value based on investment and condition - you have to send them receipts and detailed pics of the work and condition, but its usually easy enough....

Hic/flux are the only people that do AV, Sky do, but only if its a "full on show car classic" (ie not a nova)

With Hic you pay 15quid, Fill the form out and inc 6-8 pics then then right back and say if they match your figures, if it's over £5k they'll send out a insurance approved assessor(sp) to look at the car and talk to you. (i've had this)
