I looked at this a while back. I spoke to my engine builder who was in the know. You need to wrap it up well since if there are any leaks you will have to come and sort it out, which could be miles away, even the best emptied engines can leak. I never bothered so they had to come and pick the engine up, luckily for them was able to get it an hour closer.

I am in the hiab lorry business, and i am putting a trip together to mull from leicestershire, where is the engine located? I could possibly do you a deal, as kendal is not far off the m6. Pm me if you are interested
