Hi all.

Currently rebuilding an 20xe engine and popping these kawasaki 1100 carbs on, however im a bit confused on what pipes i need to connect up, and which i can leave, as i dont want to miss bits out that should be fitted etc...

Also can anyone shed any light on what MBE management i have, It is supposed to connect to the crank sensor, and the other to a coil of some sort... the last wire is a round 1 with 4 pins in... no idea what pins for what... Guessin an earth, perm 12v, switched 12v and a rev counter... however its an educated guess...

Just hope someone could shed a bit of light on the above if poss, thanks :)

You'll have a fuel line - from the fuel tank (obvious, but i'll say it anyway), an overflow line from the float bowls - for when the bikes in hard cornering, just point this at the ground away from anything hot/sparky, and then the other hose when you blow/suck on it the carb slides should move - i belive this connects to the inlet and moves the slides based on engine vaccum, but dont count me on that. you may also have a drain hose from the float bowls with a little screw valve on the bottom of the bowl itself to open it. again just run that at the ground away from anything that might blow your car up.

No idea regarding your electrics, thats all i can remember from my carbs - theres some good info on it on google, check images and such, and search it by the carb make and model i.e kehin CVK's for example.
