fitting c20xe timing belt

i am fitting a new timing belt kit to my c20xe and just want to make sure everything is on right from this pic.

how does the auto tensioner work? do i just tighten the belt against it?

how do i know when the belt is tight enough?

yeah just put a 6mm allen key in the tensioner, and turn it untill the pointer lines up with the slot. can't get it wrong with the late set up like that,

ok do i take all the slack up with the water pump first then?

Set the pump to the "new" setting.
