I was trying to do that earlier. gave up
What the front brackets bolted to the floorpan? I proper destroyed my floor trying to remove those so share your pain lol I think it's neater in the long run to grind them off flush with the floor...

this is now what im thinking, but its now to late as i have made a fun king mess of it. the metal is so thick. The only one that didnt put up to much of a fight is the drivers side left.
I now feel like smashing seven sorts of s h i t e out of my car lol
I resorted to drilling straight through & then welding up all the drill holes in the floor pan later. So much faster job I found.
I resorted to attempting to do it right and welding up the rips and holes as a result, similar end result lol
Be worth it in the end Tim! :)
I only wanted to remove them so I could plug weld my new chassis legs from the top of the floor.. I will do it from the underside then lmao

Yes. And its still a cooont of a job.lol
are you using the proper bit properly?
I believe so yes. The metal on the brackets is quite thick so its hard and the bits are fragile.
