Nova Turbo VS Chevette Turbo (c20let)

Right then guys.

The GSI isnt all that far from being finished, bodywork, paint then build back up with all the new parts etc.

However, as we speak its having a c20xe with cams and carbs.

I have a c20let engine there, thats having the full forged, nortec, gt35, sweedish inlet etc on omex.

After some long thinking, I dont know weather to leave the nova as a redtop on carbs, and put the c20let into a chevette saloon?

Whats people opinions.

I can always buy another more standard c20let for the nova in the future, but fancy some RWD action next!:thumb:

Buy a Chevette, make it really nice, fit an old school lump in it, go side ways, then maybe fit a turbo lump after.

Not bashing Evo's either, as Id like one myself, give it death for 12 months, break it for parts, buy another do the same etc. Just merely saying, the older models rust like fookery as they aint weather proofed for UK type weather.

This, plenty of horror stories on there of people buying them to find out there rotboxes. I'm positive someone posted some pictures of a mate that had bought one that had holes in the boot floor etc. With that in mind i would still want one and will probably always will lol

good job mine stay off the.road.at.winter then :-) tbh every nova ove owned has just been as bad if not worse, I stil rather own an evo though.

my evo 6 is a uk car, just clocked 123k, been garaged since mate had it from new and ive had it since april, few rusty bits but tbf the cars been used unlike most evos which come out once in a while, ive done nearly 13k in mine since april and was off the road 6-8weeks. needs a couple of bits of paint and need to underseal, but still solid. most people forget evos were only built to last 4years due to japanese markets lol
