What is the best internal gear lever to use in my nova thereis allreddy one in there but it's not very good so what is the best car to go and rob one out of down at the scrappy
Oh i would all so like to be able to have a spedo too

You can use ANY, its just a question of making it fit.

Havent got a clue it was in the car when i got

mk4 Astra one might work, pull it out and see, you're cutting it and welding it so even if you need to do it twice to straighten it it shouldn't be an issue as you can cut the old one up for parts too.

some are cable, some are rod iirc

I might be being thick here, but i you get all the gears then theres **** all wrong with what you've got. Theres nothing to be gained in replacing it, the quickshifts are all bits on the linkage, not the shifter if thats what you were hoping to gain?

Regarding the speedo, sorry to point out the obvious but how about fitting a set of clocks from a nova, connecting them to a nova speedo cable, and connect the other end of the speedo cable to the gearbox speedo drive?
