Cunning advertising.

Associate a brand with something memorable that will get people talking. Ergo, the series of totally random Cadburys adverts for example.

As said though, the aim of advertising these days is to make something that you remember or take note of ESPECIALLY in the days of people skipping through adverts on TV. The fact its been posted on here and people know its the Müller advert proves the method works.

How many people do you think skip through adverts on their digibox only to go WFT was that Kitt? then go view the advert? The other thing I've noticed is they have lingering shots of products/brands which stay in one spot on the screen longer so you're more likely to see it when you 4xspeed through the ad break.
