Nova mirrors, all the same colour?

I got a brand new lucas mirror for my nova but the colour seems to be a darker.

Did unpainted mirrors come in different shades of grey just like the roof guttering etc?

Early pre87 will be gray, later cars would have the darker blue/gray colour.

Or you may just find that your original mirrors have just faded in the sun and the new one is actually the original colour lol

Linseed oil....seriously it's one of the cheapest best things for returning the grey back and doesn't weather as quick as back to black etc
