Why not, it has the decals, the bumper flashes, although the bumper is actually an SR one, the correct dash and doorcards (albeit with pockets on) and afaik there were some early sports on a B reg h'actually :p

to get it looking prettier it really doesnt need a mega amount imo. plan is to use it over the winter whilst the red saloon is off the road then strip it or sell it

So it's a Schwing! The Sport was an extension of the Swing homologation.

I'm wishing that I didn't have so many serious projects on the go, I quite fancy having another roady fun car, and I reckon I should really re-assemble C612DNM as original as I can.

anywho bit of progress already.

bent the door back and put in a new window mech, rear guide rail and window.

so its now secure and looks a tiny bit better.

then i simply removed the rear seat cover and gave it a quick hoover to get rid of the glass, oh and threw away the pink mats lol.

if anyone knows of a pair of front seat that match the rear please let me know

decided to try and make it look more presentable today. started by washing it, then washing it again and doing all the shuts, then set about polishing the whole bludy thing. it was covered in tar, tree crap and rust stained. got it looking much better though i think

the old one isnt actually rotten just surface rust and bent. it will get a new complete front end eventually, for now all it needs to do is last me till the mot runs out in june so for now i just want it looks better.

well i was supposed to be treating it to some new doors this weekend but on thursday the head gasket decided it doesnt appreciate my driving style lmao. so i ordered a gasket set and bolts, oil and filter, cam belt, thermostat and anti freeze, not to bad for £70, lobbed me brother £50 to do it all and it was fixed by saturday :D. so new doors are due for next weekend instead now
