1.4SR with 1.3 head using 1.4SRi/1.6GSi multipoint injection?

Hey guys! Im newbie, and hello PNG! Ive got a J reg 1.4 nova luxe, but im pretty sure its a 1.4SR engine? Im probz wrong but im sure i saw SR on one of the ali plates in the engine bay!

Anyway....i was wondering what is the best way to increase power by using standard vauxhall parts from other spec engines? a mix and match if you will! Im thinking maybe a 1.4 bottom end, 1.3 head and SRI multipoint injection? Or GSi multipoint injection? Ive heard they are exactly the same but not sure...what would be your advice guys? Use a C14se head and injection on your bottom end :)

Ahhhh right ok, that sounds like a good combo! Probz be easyer to find than the 1.3head anyway....
So would that bolt straight on? Also, this might sound stupid, but would this effect emissions? cuz id want it to pass an mot! Cheers!

Will still be tested for the emissions for a carb so you will be fine
