Anyone care to make a suggestion as to why my drivers side window wont go down, but goes up fine, whilst the passengers side works fine?

Sorry to thread hijack, but thought i'd ask while we were on the subject! lol

did you see the window motors working before you put them in?
try swapping the switch around like said. the motor might be getting stuck? it might the two switchs that might be faulty too. you could take it out and try it out of the door.

Test the motor in the door 12v on one terminal earth the other. It will go one way then reverse the connections and it will go the other.
