I've got a new Sony CD player/stereo and don't fancy keep taking the face off it every time I leave the car so was wondering if anyone has hidden their stereo or made a way of making it look like it's not there lol.

I had an idea of putting a piece of carbon fibre the size of the cd player on some hinges so it hinges over the stereo when not in use and folds up when in use etc, if you get me :tard:.

Cheers.

I thought about the glovebox but with it being there it's not reachable when driving etc.

lol or just take the face off!! Hardly time consuming!

I have a Kenwood mask, so this isnt an issue.

I was considering this, as i fancied newer audio that the original kenwood headunit in my car, but i have decided to keep it as i cba to hardwire a new one in. My plan was to buy a headunit pod available at halfords/autoparts plus other crappy motoring stores, its an autoleads one, then i was going to screw the pod on the under dash shelf near the bonnet release catch so its hidden, if that makes sence.
Using one of these (>CLICKY< (http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_73 3051_langId_-1_categoryId_165626)) autolead underdash headunit pods
