cut slits in the lip every cm or so so your only bending a small amount at a time

remember to put paint over the bits you cut afterwards else you willl end up with premature rust coming through

Small cut each end, then fold the whole lip over, seal back up inc the fold to stop water getting in.

Only two cuts then, less chance of rust.

Only two cuts then, less chance of rust.

if you dive it and beat it, do it gently, warm the arch up, bend slowly..

I wouldnt have any cuts at all....... Have a pro bodyshop gently fold the lip over, seal it up and re paint would be the best way. If your arches are good and its done properly then it'll last for years to come. Their is detailed pics in my wip thread for both front and rear arches If you have time to read through all the pages to find them.

Nick.

Plasma cut the entire inner arch out and just weld bigger ones onto the side of the body. You're done then.
