Got the spring compressors on corsa strut no.2 for dissasembly, however its had a non standard top nut put on it which doesnt fit the swan neck i've borrowed.

I also dont have a socket to get hold of said nut with...

How do i go about getting it off? :thumb:

You know what, that just might work...I shall get the dremel fired up and report back.

No joy, the nuts too far recessed into the strut top to get the dremel disc on it... :(

Can you use the dremmel to put some new grooves back into the bolt and then get a wrench on it and see if you can get any movement?

you need to get yourself an erwin locking wheel remover / rounded off bolt remover, come in handy when working on old rot boxes
