Do you know when you join for the year after the year has ended does it take it out of your bank automatically or do you have to renew it every year ?

It is a subscription so it will come out. Mines via Paypal so it just debits that.

If you don't want it to auto-renew, you can cancel it at any time (in paypal). It won't cancel your membership, merely the renewal - so come renewal time you'll just lapse to a club member.

You can then sign up again at your leisure; you'll keep the same member number, carry on at whatever year you left off and get the appropriate coloured sticker.
