Does it actually fit? I'm interested as I don't know.

The C16 doesn't have the dizzy drive, so does the cam cover have the room for it?

Should be fine. The cams are the same length, its just c16se has the dispak blanking plate in place of the dizzy on a e16

yeah it fits you just remove the blankin plate as i used one on my old gte engine

They will have different part numbers as they are technically different. One has dizzy drive the other doesn't.

the lift is still the same as most things on these engines are identical apart from ignition system is a tad different, the c16 cam will have different part numbers on but will still have the lug at the end of the cam to use with a dizzy

I was always under the impression that they were different, one for the dizzy and one for the coilpack

why would they have different part numbers tho ??

Happy days for me if there the same as I know of a new genuine e16 one cheap

Anyone with a pic of the end of a c16 cam ??

Just been searching about this, as I'm interested and slightly sad.

There's a thread on a mini forum suggesting that the lift and duration is pretty much the same if not identical and that the dizzy drive is a slot. I thought it was a pin, hence my original question as this would make the shaft longer. But if it really is a slot drive then an !6 cam will fit a C16 no problem.

Couldn't find anything else on Google or any pictures which is a pain, so a Edd says above, does anyone have any pictures? The dizzy drive of an E16 one should be enough?

E16 is a pin dizzy drive.
Both cams are the same length, its just the dizzy that takes up the space thats empty in a c16se

but surley a pin can just be made to fit into the slot/dizzy so you can run either cam

No the slot drive cam only has a slot in it, the offset pin of a dizzy wont fit it.
Only 1.2-1.3's had slot drive cams iirc

so you would have to run the dizzy ect of the 1.2/1.3 then
