erm i wouldnt have thought it gets that hot, im currently haveing the same problematic thoughts regarding head in the inlet port of the head lol. aslong as its less than 100 degrees im happy.

My 1.6 inlet manifold gets hot, burnt my pinky's a few times lol :oops:

probs burnt his pinky and wondered if he shud call himself a nooooooooob or not lol

well they are heated by the coolant system (ironic) so air going in is a little warmer making the engine run leaner (when tuned to that air mass)
