Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out, I'm looking to buy a four branch manifold from a 1.3 sr. Will this fit my gte? Anyone know if the exhaust flange where it meets the mid pipe. Is the same?

Sorry for the dumb ass question.

Thanks Ben.

It will fit the engine but it wont fit your gte exhaust, the join is a different angle on gte/gsi's

I had a 4 branch on my 1300 on my last nova.. When I fitted my 1600sv the 4 branch sat tight against the sump. With regards to fitment at the centre it was ok as I just kept the same centre.

I thought that would be the case Adam. I'll hold out n buy a proper 1 for the car.

You might be surprised to know that if you use a factory gte manifold & downpipe (not an aftermarket cheapo) then pay attention to the port matching, the gasket joints, and definitely the bit where the 2 meets the 1, you can get better results than on a 4-1..according to C612DNM.. he used to race a nova rather successfully.

all 8v exhaust manifold are the same 1.2,1.3,1.4 and the 1.6. i brought a gsi maniflod back exhaust off a mate years ago to put on my 1.4 sr and it fitted prefect lol
