2.0 xe insurance price

Hi just got a quote from hic on a 2.0 nova im 29 (today) driving since 2000 6 years ncb, and 6 points from 2008, my quote was £1200 fully comp with mods included:eek:
Now to me that seem a tad high is this normal? can anyone give me advise as ive seen a car im keen on but cant be paying that kind of price for a 2nd car

have you tried sky on here? your a paid member so will get a discount

im not paying anywhere near that for a 2.0 8v with a good few power and cosmetic mods through sky and im 24 1 years ncb driving nearly 4

I pay £700 that's at 25 with 3points and 4yrs no claims. Mines also fully comp with all mods declared including the 260bhp xe engine through flux, but I would advise flux I have loads of chew this year

What are the points for?

I'd say that price was about right with points, FC and in your postcode area.
