ok so im running megajolt which has its own earth for all its componants

so the only other 2 for the engine i need are the gearbox and the alternator?

the alternator earth where does this connect to on the actual alternator

its a 20seh, same alternator as an xe

It should earth to the bracket that you use to adjust the belt, however this relies on the metallic compound rubber bushings being intact. Personally I would earth it seperately to the car body, the threaded boss in the firewall that the battery earths to is ideal as this would essentially earth the alt back to the negative terminal. You cant get better than that.
