How can anyone tell you not knowing the information about your car!
Wheel offset/arches rolled stuff like that
60mm

As low as a set of coilovers or remachined springs will let you!

Its not safe to use standard shocks with springs that lower 60mm or more but if you got a set of coilovers You could go upto 85mm I think but a splitter will be practically dragging on the ground!

Slim Jim asked all this a while back, he mite have some more info!

haha, no spare wheel well or tank here.

might have to dry sump aswell as raise the exhaust manifold to get a bit clearance :o

all worth it in the end tho

i thought the lower you went the better the car handles (with uprated shocks obviously)

i had gmax shocks and 35mm springs but changed the springs for 80s. Handles even better now.

on a uneven bumpy road the shox will bottem out more thus causing bump-steer = not good.

on a smooth road, like a race track, you wont need much travel in the shox and lower suspension would probably be better...im not 100% sure about this tho.

lower centre of gravity usually equals better stability/handeling. hence 'touring cars' low. :)

what about airbags or hydraulics, the good thing is you can drop it on the floor when parked and raise it when you need to drive

anything over 30mm or so and uprated shocks are recommended
