British gangster films fall into 2 categories....

1. Get carter
2. The rest
ok lock stock was half decent, but there are loads of truly awful ones about

there are some great old british movies about, but i guess you wouldn't like b&w movies

I don't think danny dyer can actually act very well, and i think he played himself in human traffic... So i avoid anything with him in

I wasn't that impressed tbh, just seemed a bit shallow.

If you like Brit movies, Dead Man's Shoes is a favourite of mine.

jack, the trouble with shane meadows films is that it feels more like an ordeal than a movie... he goes to dark & grim places, which are usually set in & around nottingham lol lol

We went to the castle where the end part of that was filmed 1 night called rieber (sp?) castle took ages to find it, its just outside matlock. Alot of it was filmed in Buxton opposite the weather spoons. Good film.

I recently watched Mr Nice which was a good film IMO.

Watched London boulevard a few weeks back, not a bad film but think it'll fall in to mowglis category 2 gangster film.

The best film I've watched for a while was the illusionist with the mrs family the other night was a fantastic film!
