I have been offered a gearbox from a corsa D (2009) its an F13 box, my question is....will it fit my 1.4 sri (8v) engine???

the full code is F13MC429

the 429 would be a 4.29 CWP but what does the MC bit mean  C for close ratio i would guess but the M i have never seen before

thanks :thumb:

Corsa D will be hydraulic clutch and Nova is cable, so you got a problem there.

Didnt realise the F13 was still in use.... I'd have thought they would be on F15's at least, if not F17's

That code does imply its a CR 4.29 FD box, should be a right giggle :)

giggle indeed lol looking to fit it to my road rally car, have been waiting for a 4.53 for ages at the right price with no luck :( i have a 4.18 at the moment so the 4.29 is a good compromise??

i think that the hydraulic boxes can be converted to cable? if not i will just swap the cluster over :)

any ideas on the 'M' part of the code???

cheers

I'd b looking 2fit an older f13 box, cable clutch, simple then mate. Chuck a good diff
in there and tht will be good for down the lanes bud!

What you could do, is take the box and put the D cluster into the gear casing you already have and change the diff over.... WIN and cable clutch

Yes you can fit it.
I've just swap a corsa d gearbox c4.29 into my son's corsa b rally car with no problem.
You must just adjust the rear support of the gearbox (cutting return steel).
You must realiise a little support for the clutch cable.
Refix your cable clutch command and your cable speedo.
Sorry for my english i'm from Belgium.:)
