hey guys just thought id see who is attending the hullaween cruise on saturday
as the name says its in hull
Humber Bridge Tourist Information Car Park, Hull, HU13 0LN theres the address last few years have been massive and nice season end meet times are
18:30-about 11:30
who's game i'll be there in nordic blue 4 door saloon with black and polished alleycat cheetah wheels hopefully av my coilovers on by then as well

In all fairness i know the lad who runs the club that organises these cruises, and theyre all legal, are run in conjunction with the local police and the last few have had the police in attendance, and had road safety demonstrations and raise money for local charities afaik, so you may want to lessen the digs/abuse towards it peeps!
And no, i dont go to them, and ill be working:p

instead of bin dicks why not ask more about it as the guy said its a charity event arranged with the local police at a local cafe area no wheel spins and hand break turns all you stuck up idiots seem to associate it with its more like a meet to raise money for chairty its just they call it hullaween cruise if you dont want to go then dont just dont be dicks when i post up about a meet that i thought could be of interest to a few lads on here who like to look at different cars as there is also a super car display and a lot of old school motors have turned up the last couple of times ive been and as said the last 2 years ive bin i havent seen 1 car spin a wheel or coarse any trouble at all as they are not welcome just shows even people who own novas think there to stuck up to go to car meets shocking reply to be honest wont bother even mentioning meets next time seems most of you just sad acts that do there cars up and dont even show them off just lock them in garages

ohhh i am sorry im dislecsik really not my fault is it why the attitude trying be a good forum guy and try get a few people to meet up as it seems like there is never any meets for the nova's and all i get is abuse

cheers glad some 1 see's my point of view and well to be honest ive bin into vag cars for last year and all the vag sites never get idiots on them seems like this site isnt the same and another if your face fits you wont get abuse kind of sites

Folks, yes we all think croooooozes are somewhat silly, but the kids seem to enjoy it so let them have their fun (otherwise they will only be hooning round town racing etc).
You wont hear of any meets as a forum member-theyre all in the North east club section.
You cant blame people for laughing at kroozes,most are at the age now where their last and forever memories of them are plastic tatted up cunto's and clios,wheelspins and and general anti social behaviour resulting in being dragged into getting sec 59's for just attending.
I attended a sooo called " we come one " krooooz not long back as i used to be "in the scene" a few years back lol We used to have a good laugh with kroozmids cruisemidlands etc etc. Anyway i went on this kroooz drove 50miles to find police blocking off the car park and was full of saxos 106s etc etc few nice and oldskool cars but not many, i finally parked up next to some idiot in a escort cabriolet that thought his "system" was soo kool but all it did was make his number plate vibrate! I wont ever..... ever go on one again!!
cruise that used to run up the road from me used to be quite good sometimes. not sure what the mix of cars is like down south but last cruise a went to had some really nice cars, nissan gtr's, skylines, evo's, scoobys, lotus exige, bentley continental, rs4s, m5s etc then your usual boring stuff like focus/fiesta st's, vxrs and the like and sometimes some nice old motors aswell, rs turbos, old golfs, r5s, mk1 cav, astra gte, capri running 200sx engine all spring to mind. dont really see any bodykitted messes round about here for a good few years now
they had to stop holding them as so many people went it blocked off the roads and affected the ambulances at the local hospital. queues into the shopping centre could go almost a mile long!

I also dont see point in spending so much time, effort and money on building a car to keep it in garage just to look at am maybe going to pod twice a rear and doing some burnouts there. Who actualy knows what there car is made of? Plodding around it the focus deisel all year and then going on a trackday in their 300bhp nova turbo a few times a year to only dordel around there too because you dont kno how to drive it.
And theres a lack of local meets with other nova users, not seen many wanting to meet round my way. On the evo and supra meets there was one nearly every week.
Im only assuming by some of the comments but im sure most of you like to go for a ride in your pride and joy as often as i do ;)

i use my nova daily is the only way a c ar should be used i agree a bit with taking minters off the road for winter but not just using as show cars waste oif money time and effort

Call it a charity meet and I guarantee you the response would have been totally different. As said, people associate "cruises" with the chuff that used to go on a few years back, and still does I suppose, in Asda car park and the likes. The kinda thing that gets Pie banned lol
[edit] As for quantity of meets, join the club and you'll get access to the regional forums where official club meets are organized. There's not that many Novas left these days, in fact I'd go so far as to say we're probably outnumbered by the likes of the Evos, Skylines, Supras etc nowadays so it stands to reason they'll have more events.

personally i wouldnt go to one im to over protective of my car and it sits in the garage all the time lol i cant trust anybody these days if it gets scratched at the cruise by some low life ill have to pay for it but thats just me i am quite happy just it sitting in the garage lol
but as we all told you before Chris, there isn't some big conspiracy to damage your nova, it was just a one off with some dick heads and your corsa lol are you still actually keeping it in norfolk forever? lol

yer will still be in norfolk in the grain store lol im not really bothered about going to shows/cruises anymore im not really bothered about showing my car off to anyone i always wanted a nova gsi 2ltr 16v and ive got that car now so im happy personally because i got my dream car i just had it done up for myself, it will get used now and again in norfolk though lol i still like chatting on here about novas though but yer if i have payed all that money for it to sit there thats up to me but i do see peoples point about whats the point in having it lol im moving on to my corsa now mainly doing track days when i get my c20xe in her
