I was just looking on http://howmanyleft.co.uk at the nova's and found this fact.

In 1997 there were 29,992 Nova SR's , 10 years later in 2007 there were 1396 (Sorn & taxed) , that's a drop of 95.35%

Scary !

Yet they're still everywhere. lol

Howmanyleft is not a reliable source of info mate. Yeah, numbers are decreasing rapidly, but it's hard to have sympathy with the amount you see weighed in on here!

Exactly. Give it a few years and people will regret that they parted with 'fcuked' shells so easily. lol

(Come on Utd!) lol

I know of three nova's locally, two gte s one red and one met grey and a white gsi, all of two of which could have been saved fairly easy a couple of years ago and the rev gte is well past saving but is still complete the bodykit and interior is complete and could be re homed but sadly none of the owners will sell them, all saying that they will get round to fixing them one day f lol.

Well if people think they can save a shell, I'll post some pictures of my current Mk1 shell, see how many want it to save it!!!!

There were 3 million novas/Opel corsa a's made total worldwide IIRC.

Most of them will be over germany and other countries id say.

I killed 2 1.3 SR's in that period lol

Truth be told, many of us would fix/repair if parts were a decent price for panels, it simply costs to much to do a big resto,
