That's amazing wicked skills. There's a company somewhere in Britain that are going to have mk1 shells mass produced again in china and the price is going to be around £5k.

Someone told me about that thats why i ended up searching for new escort shells and came across this, anything on the internet about the new mk1 shells then ?

a brand new non genuine bodyshell might be in trouble with the fia, and ford, but if it is a rebuilt shell, with an id, then it should be ok... but weren't all the proper rally escorts type 49 or something?

as for the company getting them made in china for 5k... it sounds suspiciously like the company that was going to get aluminium morris minors made, and was after advanced orders with large deposits.... cough con merchants cough

The company that are going to have them commissioned have had mustang shells made previously and are a well established company so don't think there will be any problems. There's definitely a Market for them and complete fibreglass shells have already been done.

meh im waiting on mike to do carbon novas shell's, they might coast a few quid but atleast they cant rot lol

Where can i see some information on the fibreglass nova shells ? i was looking this up before but couldnt find anything.

Pintos are good engines for their age. Iv had a few and they go well and easily tuneable. Can get them up to 250hp the Maltese use them in escort drag cars and run 9's.
