Opel/Vaux techs

I have a car in work that i think could be clocked, using the tech 2 going into engine then ecu control i get the 2 odometer readings up
Intrument: 97014miles
ecm odometer value: -100978miles
im just wondering has anyone seen this before or would it mean theres 100978miles been takin off the clock?

07 astra h, dont think intruments or ecus were changed, just think its weird that theres a minus figure in front of ecm odmeter value
