I have a 1987 D reg Nova 3 door 1.2 merit which has been converted to rally spec but not msa approved, just a toy i built. It has been stripped out, seam welded and strengthened, it has brand new MK2 bumpers with a MK1 sr Grille, white indicators,Painted in porsche pure orange which is a solid water based colour, Omp Style suade steering wheel, OMP 6 Point cage Professionally installed, Welded in Seat subframes, Cobra Mocaco Bucket seat, Gmax 60mm Full suspension, 4 branch heat wrapped manifold, sportex group A full exhaust, fuel pressure regulator, facet fuel pump, goodridge brake lines, 16v 266mm brakes, vauxhall astra mk4 5 spoke wheels.
It has been running a x16 szr astra 1.6 8v engine but the bottom gave out and big ends gone which i was having rebuild by JRE in plymouth. The head is a Full Port and polished nova GTE head running a kent AST2 cam and vernier. Which i will prob sell seperately but we will see.
All that requires for it to be road legal again is a new MOT which is due end of this month october, the rear o/s arch needs painting as its in primer due to being renewed, and obviously tax.
