Have they asked you to pay the overpayment back?
My manager mentioned it and said that they would talk to me about some payment options wich I thought was fair enough every time I asked my manager what was happing with it she never had a answer, now opening my paycheck there it is they took it all in one hit like they haven't owed me money since may, I would have been more then willing to pay it back but surly your not allowed to just take it feels Luke I've been robbed

They have to agree repayment with you, they can't just take it.
Try to contact the overpayments officer in either finance or payroll, they may have outsourced it to someone like mckesson in Scotland.
atleast its all paid off in one hit now lol
steal £300 worth of gas lol

Right I was over paid over 1200 quid last month I've only just seen this as they didn't send a paycheck and all together my wage was 2261 quid but that had 858 quid take. From it so all I recived was 1400 wich ie a over payment of around 350 quid
This month they took two loads of money from me return salary of 175 and returned geo allowance of 166 leaving me with 800 quid and I've just been informed that there going to be taking over 300 quid from my next paycheck aswell
I completely ****ing screwed at this rate I will be ither in court for not paying council tax or homeless for npt paying rent

Seroiusly get onto payroll and tell them that you will agree a repayment amount and period but taking it without prior arrangement will you in court or homeless. Do you have kids?
document every phone call and always get a name. Ask for managers rather then normal payroll chump
edit - just looked online and found this
http://www.payroll-help.com/2010/06/can-my-employer-deduct-money-from-wages/
Scroll down to around three quarters, the overpayment bit suggests they can just recover it
Overpayment specific section
http://www.payroll-help.com/faq/deduction-of-wage-overpayment/
Nothing you can do except ask politely
They're fully in their right to take their money back from you. It's their money and you shouldn't have it.
This exact same thing has happen where I work, we looked in plans and different options. The only one we concluded on was "lump it".
Are you still a trainee? if not then you should be shouting to get the right pay.
Did you use all of the overpay last month? if so then tbh its your look out as to not alerting them and for even spending it for times like this when they recover it.

No I payed back what I occupy received but there now wanting what went in to tax and ni when I never revived it why should I pay that back when it was a internal processing error on there behalf I never spent it
at least you will be keen to do the on call work now.... Please explain just where all your money goes, as your takehome is a fair whack more than a lot of pngers make...
Well if they are taking the PAYE and NI back then thats wrong.... for a start they wont have paid either to HMRC yet so its just a clerical issue of taking the numbers off the sheet. Plus there is potential that you tripped that month/week into bigger tax land and screwed the taxcoding up etc.
You didnt just give your boss an envelope of cash did you? lol
i had the same thing where i work when i 1st started, Lukily i still live at home, if thats what their doing maybe speak to payroll and try set it so that your paying back 100 a month rather than 300 as its putting you in debt
i dont work so i dont care lol
